About Sophie

Sophie is a great dog, but she has not been socialized and needs to be trained on how to walk without pulling the leash. I rescued her last month from the Animal Care & Control shelter in Charlotte, but she's more than I can handle. She's a great dog though and potentially could make someone a really good companion dog. She just needs to be socialized with other animals and not pull so hard on the leash. But ideally, she should live on a farm or in a home with a big giant yard where she can run around a lot. I'm traveling the country in an RV and thought I could find dog parks for her but now I'm afraid to take her there because she just wants to fight the other dogs. But she's a very sweet with other people. Real friendly and would never bite anybody. It's just the other dogs that I'm concerned about and probably cats too.. I am going to be very picky about who gets this wonderful dog. She deserves the right home.
