About Smoky

Smoky is a 2 yr., old very affectionate American shorthair mixed with something else. He's easygoing, and a very adaptable companion with an athletic build. He is very sociable and good with families and other pets as he has a playful, but not overly demanding temperament. Physically he has a short, dense and beautiful coat that doesn't shed a lot. He was fostered I a home with 9 other cats. The couple separated and asked the community to foster 5 of their 10 cats, because hey we're moving out of state. Our family has been fostering two of their cats, one being Smoky, but due to unexpected health challenges, and the fact that our eldest daughter moved in with her own pets, it's become very challenging for us to keep him. He's a healthy and super sweet cat, perfect for someone seeking a companion, or for a family that would like to give their kids their first pet. He's very adaptable, and has no problem asking for affection. He loves to be pet, and to sit next to you when you watch TV. Smoky will make an excellent best friend to a loving owner, in a forever home.
