About Dodger von Darmstadt

Dodger von Darmstadt is a stunning 2 year old sable German Shepherd. We don't often get much information from animal shelters about a dog. We sent our trainer Adam to meet Dodger, who soon blew his socks off with his obedience and quick responses. Adam sent videos and texted 'I love this dog.' Soon Dodger was walking out of the animal shelter a free dog. If Dodger gets a glimpse of Adam working with the other dogs at the rescue, he cries just for a little visit. Our big guy has a very soft heart. He is the total package - handsome, affectionate, and noble. He starts his walks with enthusiasm, eager to get going and explore the world by your side. Once he settles in, he walks beautifully on leash, heeling close and looking to his person for guidance. He loves greeting people and other dogs along the way and easily joins group walks with multiple canine friends. A quick learner and keen student, Dodger already knows his Sit, Down, Paw and Heel commands, and is eager to learn more. In playgroups, he greets other dogs politely and explores the yard right away. He's respectful of other dogs' space, steering clear of pushy playmates, but doesn't mind dogs playing close by. When it comes to people, his heart is as big as his smile. He's a true love bug who just wants to love and be loved in return. He would thrive in a home that can give him the affection, structure, and companionship he adores - just no cats, please!
