CLOVER, ID#A2217258, located in a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, California. The LA shelters are in severe overcrowding conditions and are euthanizing young healthy dogs at an alarming rate!!! Save Clover before it's too late!! Transportation information is available contact Bonnie. My name is Clover and I am a neutered male, black and tan German Shepherd. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years and 2 months old. I weigh approximately 63 pounds. I have been at the shelter since Sep 26, 2025. Volunteer notes: Clover was one of 3 dogs taken to SOFI Stadium for the Chargers game. I was his handler. He pulled on leash at first & then he walked without pulling. He entered the stadium with a multitude of distractions and had no problems. Many adults and children of all ages came and petted him. He was perfectly calm with every person he met. Another volunteer notes: Clover was easy to leash through kennel door. Mild to moderate pull to parking lot. We then went into one of the back enclosures where he came to me for pets and scratches and leaned in to get closer. He knows sit and takes treats gently. He was not interested in the tennis ball or toy. Walking back was easy to return him to his kennel. East Valley Animal shelter 14409 Vanowen Street Van Nuys, CA 91405 Voice: 818-756-9323/4
