About Shep

Shepherd lovers, beware. If you are only just 'perusing' and thinking about adopting a dog, when you land on my profile, you will be convinced you aren't just 'considering it' anymore! I am a 4 to 5 month old, 35ish lb Shepherd puppy mix. What type of Shepherd you ask? Likely a German Shepherd - I sure do look the part. However, I also resemble a bit of Border Collie with my longer nose. I am just stunning like my sister Betty and my brother, Daniel (also adoptable). How many ways can we explain how smart and cool I am? There are so many... so let's just list a few: 1) I am fully housebroken. I didn't even have to ask what to do. 2) I play fetch. Nope, no one taught me that. 3) I have never had a mess in my crate. I might not LOVE my crate but I know what to do in there too. 4) I love toys - especially the ones that squeak and for a dog my age, I am really good at entertaining myself with all of my toys! 5) I already come when called and stay close to my humans. 6) I love kids and dogs and we would put money on that I wouldn't ever be mean to a cat. In fact, we aren't sure I would ever be mean to anything. 7) I am confident, fun, affectionate. I LOVE people and will play with any dog. I also respect the ones that don't want anything to do with me! I sound pretty perfect BUT I am still a puppy so anyone who adopts me will need to be ready for some jumping, maybe some attempted counter surfing and some teething behavior.
