About Snickers

Snickers is a 5-year-old, 5-pound pocket-sized angel who has completely won over his foster. He is the definition of easygoing. Sweet, gentle, and endlessly cuddly, this little guy wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He follows his foster around the house, curls up beside her while she studies, and even has his own little bed set up on top of a crate so he can stay at desk height while she works. He is wonderful on a leash, walks beautifully, and absolutely adores people. Kids can carry him around and he happily soaks up the attention. He has gone to brunch, lounged calmly at his foster's feet, attended events, and relaxed in a sling or bag like a tiny king. He really is perfect. Snickers does mark a bit, but it has already improved now that he is neutered. He wears a belly band that is usually dry and he pees and potties outside without issue. He gets along well with other dogs, although he is not much of a player. He prefers to hang out, nap, and be held. At night he sleeps at his foster's feet, and he will come snuggle if invited, always respectful of the bigger dogs' space. He goes up and down stairs, though he got spooked once and is a little unsure going back up. He does half the steps before getting nervous and asking for help, and his foster thinks he will gain confidence again soon. Snickers is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
