About Duchess

Duchess, also known as DeeDee, is a 6-year-old, 6-pound sweetheart who brings gentle charm everywhere she goes. She's even smaller in person than she appears in photos, and somehow even cuter. Soft, calm, and incredibly affectionate, she hands out kisses like it is her full-time job. She has a quiet, almost whisper-like bark and is not a talker. At night she loves curling up right beside you and settles in like the coziest little cuddle muffin. She adores people, especially men, and she is wonderful with kids. Duchess has a patient, easy nature with dogs of all sizes and she does perfectly fine with cats too. Food is her favorite motivator and she is learning to take treats gently. She is doing well on potty pads and will go outside when taken to the yard. She is also getting comfortable with her harness and is doing great on leash walks. This little girl is blossoming more every day. Duchess has a Grade 2 out of 4 luxating patella in her left leg and a Grade 3 out of 4 in her right leg. She does not show any reactivity or discomfort, but these should be monitored as she ages. Duchess is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing.
