Mavis was found as a stray, leaving us uncertain about her past, but her personality shines through as she adjusts to her new surroundings. This lovely pup has a curious nature and enjoys exploring her environment, sniffing out every intriguing scent. She thrives on human companionship and delights in receiving gentle pets; there's nothing she loves more than being close to someone who cares for her. Mavis has a decent leash-walking ability, making her a great companion for walks in the park or around the neighborhood. She knows the 'sit' command and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially when treats are involved. Overall, Mavis is an endearing companion who is ready to find a loving home where she can flourish. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. �%A0 Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. �%A0 Please talk to shelter staff for more information.�%A0 We only accept cash.
