About Pippa

Pippa is an 8-year-old, 8-pound Pomeranian with a gentle heart and a touch of sass. She came to us shy and uncertain, but once she trusts you, she becomes a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be near her favorite person. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and does fine with cats too. Pippa even did great with a house full of visitors and her foster's 4-year-old grandson, proving that once she feels safe, she's easygoing and sweet. She loves sleeping in bed with her people (and yes, she snores a little), and she's perfect all night long. Pippa is semi-potty trained and does best when taken outside regularly. She's very proud of herself after doing her business and happily accepts a treat for a job well done. She'll also do well in a home with at least one friendly dog, since she loves curling up beside her Pomsky foster sibling. Her bark is rare but memorable-a low, raspy 'whisky voice' that makes everyone laugh. She travels wonderfully and recently went on a road trip to Austin, snoozing quietly in her foster's lap the whole way. She just needs a little patience during her first week in a new home as she adjusts and learns to trust. Once she does, you'll have the most devoted companion imaginable. Pippa is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
