About Maria

On the night of Saturday October 18th Animal Control Officers assisted with picking up this stray female Pit Bull found near Thornlake Ave & Monica Ave in Long Beach. She appears young (under 3 years old), has cropped ears, does not have a microchip, and arrived wearing a pink harness. Although it wasn't initially noticed, when examining this sweet girl for identification or owner information a note was found within the pocket on her harness apparently written by the child in the finders home requesting whoever brings her back home takes good care of her. Sadly, a week later no owner ever came forward to claim this girl as their beloved pet, the shelter has named her 'Maria' and she is now available for adoption or rescue. HI!
