About Charlie

Charlie is a 3-year-old, 60-lb charmer. If you've been looking for the ultimate cuddle buddy, look no further because Charlie is your guy! This sweet, soulful boy is happiest when he's curled up next to you, ready to Netflix and chill the day away. He's a total lovebug who just wants to be close to his people. Charlie is crate-trained, potty-trained, and very smart. His foster says he's a quick learner who totally understands the art of the treat and bribe. He's also mastered the chill lifestyle - while he enjoys spending time outside, he's not really a 'let's go for a hike' kind of guy. Stairs and long walks aren't his favorite, so he'd do best in a home without many (or any!) stairs and with a yard where he can lounge, sunbathe, and enjoy the fresh air. He's been friendly with all the dogs he's met and would thrive in a home with another dog buddy to hang out with. He hasn't been tested off-leash with small dogs yet, but on-leash he's been great. Charlie hasn't been tested with children or cats. Charlie has such a gentle, grateful heart. After everything he's been through, he's ready to finally settle into a home where he can rest, play, and love freely.
