She's as unique as her name and just as sweet as pumpkin pie! ? Cassie and her twin sister Cranberry were found sitting in the bed of a pickup truck in 90-degree heat. Their 'owner' said a neighbor had thrown the pups out with the trash - but a kind Good Samaritan stepped in, and CCAR took it from there. Now Cassie is safe, cozy, and ready to be someone's reason to be thankful this holiday season. ? She's about 7-8 lbs right now, up to date on vaccines, and her spay surgery will be covered by our rescue at the Simi Valley Spay & Neuter Clinic when she's old enough.
