Bella is a 2-year-old female tri-color Pomeranian weighing about 18 pounds. She's a lively, affectionate girl with a beautiful coat and bright, expressive eyes that match her playful personality. Bella was found running loose in Houston and, despite having a microchip, her previous owners could not be reached. She tested positive for heartworms, which was likely the reason she was abandoned, but she has since completed her full treatment and is now healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start. This sweet girl loves to play and snuggle in equal measure. She enjoys toys, belly rubs, and spending time near her people. Bella gets along well with other dogs and does well with cats as long as they don't run-she thinks a playful chase is great fun. She would make a wonderful companion for an older child or anyone who enjoys an active, affectionate dog. Bella walks nicely on a leash, rides well in a crate, and is doing well with her potty routine. She'll go outside when taken regularly but may have accidents indoors if not let out often enough. She's also comfortable in her kennel and is learning to walk confidently on a harness. Bella is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and completed heartworm treatment. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
