About Leo

Meet Leo!! He is a 2-year-old Basenji mix with so much love and energy to give. I met his previous owners, who were no longer in a position to own a dog, and I've been fostering him ever since. Leo is affectionate, intelligent, and full of personality. He loves to run, play fetch, and explore, but he's just as happy curling up for cuddles after a good day of activity. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and does well with cats who are familiar with dogs. Leo absolutely loves children, but needs to learn how to play with them(he gets really excited). Leo would thrive in an active home, someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, has a yard to play in, or can give him plenty of daily exercise and attention. Living with another dog would be a bonus for him! If you're looking for a goofy and loving companion, Leo is your guy! I am willing to drive anywhere in California for a good family!!
