Courtesy Posting: HELP!!! X URGENT- Riverside County Shelter, San Jacinto location, So Cal - ID #A1882643 'ENZO'- SUPER SWEET YOUNGER, PEOPLE AND DOG FRIENDLY, VERY HANDSOME BOY LISTED AS A CHOW/SHEPHERD MIX. Pink tongue, have another spitz breed in him too- Only 42 lbs! AT GREAT RISK IN HIGH KILL SHELTER since 10/19. AVAILABLE TO ADOPT, BUT SHELTER IS OVERFULL and EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AND GIVES LITTLE TIME. WE ARE THEREFORE ALSO DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HIS LIFE. RESCUES NEED FOSTERS TO HELP! DEAR ENZO was found as a stray, chipped to an owner who is not local, who sadly has never replied. Enzo is said to be 3 years young and weighs 42 lbs now (he came in underweight at 39 lbs) but is still perfectly sized. When found, he was roaming with another who dog who does not look related but he made pals with, and has been kenneled with several other unrelated dogs he gets along with. Enzo just came off of his long stray/chip hold on 10/19, and he is expected to become very urgent in this very full shelter as he has been there over a month. He has had no negative behavior or medical notes and can be seen in several videos the shelter and volunteers both provided. He loves to be pet, full of smiles, takes treats gently and seems to know a few commands. Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, though, he may have little time to be adopted or rescued before he is add to the euthanasia list without warning. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting sweet Enzo, please contact the shelter immediately by calling (951) 358-7387 and reference his applicable ID and also use his listing link to express interest. There is also a chance he could be fostered through the shelter if you are local, or we could pair you with a rescue group to assist with this as a foster if you are further away (but not too far from a willing rescue). If you are a rescue group and interested in pulling this handsome guy, please email the shelter right away at: [email protected] and call (951) 358-7302.
