I had the pleasure of hosting this sweet boy for a weekend foster, and he's been an absolute gem. Drake is a very good boy and loves to cuddle. He is house-trained already and very respectfully of the space he is in. He is very adaptable to his surroundings and various activities. He does well in his crate and gets in willingly. I live an a pretty noisy apartment with multiple roommates, and Drake fit right in. Everyone he encountered loved him, and he had no problem with the various noises of apartment living. Drake has thrived in various environments this weekend as well. We walked at Hessel Park, which had multiple dogs, squirrels, and other distractions. We walked at Kickapoo State Park on the hiking trails. Lastly, we walked on the busy Main Quad at UIUC. In every situation, Drake remained a loose-leash walker, only pulling when he felt like a squirrel was getting a little too close for his liking. Squirrels definitely take his focus a bit, but he responded to cues to keep moving and did great passing dogs, people, little kids, etc. I really can't speak more highly of this wonderful boy.
