Miko is about 8 months old, we have been fostering since he was 5 months. He is house trained, neutered, up to date on shots, and has been working on basic obedience. He is also crate trained. His special skill is that he is motivated by BOTH treats and toys, which means you can mix up the rewards during training! The shelter thinks he is an American Pitbull Mix. He is such a cuddle bug! He loves to lay next to you or be on your lap, and once he trusts you, he will give you lots of kisses, hugs, and pibble nibbles! He loves other dogs and loves to play and wrestle with them (all sizes) - I think he would do great in a home with dog(s). While he does ok with younger kids, I would recommend older kids (12+). He becomes overstimulated very easily and his prey drive kicks in; because of this, I recommend he goes to a home that is either calm most of the time or to someone who has some experience dealing with this. He has been ok with our cat, but I would not leave them unsupervised as he gets very mouthy, has pawed the cat (big clompy paw) and has stepped on him too. I would not recommend he be with other small animals.
