About Ponga

From Ponga's foster mom: Ponga has been the best pup! She immediately knew to play with stuffed toys and other dog chews and has not had any issues with chewing anything other than toys! She loves snuggles and has puppy energy but also knows how to hang out. She's been a great office dog and homework buddy. She gets a little excited and jumps, but with consistent training and rewarding 'all four on the floor' she picks up what she needs to do to get that attention! She was a bit afraid of descending our stairs but has mastered those. We worked on impulse control tonight and she offered sitting and laying down on her own or with minimal guidance to get some cooked sweet potato. We crated her overnight and while she protested for a bit, she settled down quickly and was a good girl all night long. She is very food motivated and has been doing well with food puzzles, kongs, and lick mats. She walks well on the leash. She is very, very sweet and attentive to anyone around her.
