Asher comes all the way from Azerbaijan (former Soviet Union) to find his happily ever after. His life began in unthinkable pain and trauma - as a stray puppy, he was brutally abused by locals. First, his ears were cut off. Months later, the same people targeted him again - hacking off his tail, tying a rope around his neck, and dragging him behind a car. A kind witness intervened just in time, saving his life. After months of hospitalization and recovery, Asher is as good as new - full of love, joy, and a zest for life. You'd never guess the pain he's overcome from the way he greets everyone with a big smile and a wagging tail. Asher loves being around people, no matter the activity - long walks, playtime in the yard, or curling up for a cozy movie night. He's an energetic, intelligent dog who thrives with regular exercise and companionship. Asher would do best in a home without small dogs or children, as he enjoys playing with dogs his own size. He's housebroken, affectionate, and ready to be your loyal adventure buddy. On weekends, Asher loves visiting the farmers market, where he charms everyone with his bright eyes and cheerful personality. People are drawn to his happy face & beautiful markings - this dog smiles. He truly lights up every space he enters - and at the end of the day, his favorite place is curled up on the couch with his pack. Asher is 3 YRS old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
