About FLUFFY

FLUFFY is a 5-year-old, 8-pound Yorkie who was surrendered due to a move. With love and reassurance, this little girl will reward her people with quiet loyalty and companionship. FLUFFY is sweet but may be timid and skittish at first meet. When she feels safe with you she enjoys belly rubs and being held for short periods, but is also content to relax nearby on her own. She'll roll onto her side and wait to be picked up when you reach for her. She takes time to build trust, but once she does, she'll quietly show her affection (and sometimes even sneak in a face lick!). FLUFFY does well with other small dogs and enjoys the company of her small foster brother. She's not much for toys yet, but she's starting to play a little with him. She definitely gains confidence from having a small furry friend so that's what we want for her. She will do best in a calm home with no children or large dogs. We do not know how she would be with cats. Her foster fur brother has been helping her learn good potty habits. She's doing wonderfully and is now on day three with no accidents. Her foster mom keeps her on a consistent schedule and uses positive reinforcement, which she responds to beautifully. She is good on leash but would benefit from a secure fenced yard for her comfort and safety. At night, FLUFFY sleeps in the big bed, usually on her own pillow next to her foster mom's head. FLUFFY has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola).
