About Bubblegum

Bubblegum was living in deplorable conditions inside a crate in a carport where he could not see anything outside at all. He was very neglected for the first few months of his life. Now he has started to learn about what life should be like to be a puppy - to be able to romp & play, to be loved and feel joy. Bubblegum still will need someone who can be patient with him while he navigates the big wide world. In the beginning he knew nothing but his crate and was afraid of everything he saw - trees, leaves, cars and so much more. Bubblegum has become very trusting and loving of people and will let you play and hug him. He is good with kids and cats but can however be afraid of other big dogs. Bubblegum would do well with crate training as his 'safe' place until he feels comfortable in his new surroundings. His previous owner said his mom was a Lab and the Dad was a Chihuahua - and assuming this is the truth, Bubblegum should grow to be a medium sized dog. Bubblegum is about 5 months old and 21 pounds. Please help Bubblegum find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
