Hi friends! I'm Guida, a gentle 13-year-old Shih Tzu girl and 10lbs of pure sweetness! And guess what? It's Adopt-a-Senior Dog Month, which means it's the perfect time for me to find my forever home! My story isn't the happiest - I ended up at a local shelter, and honestly, shelters are no place for a senior girl like me. But now I'm safe with Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue, and I'm ready to find a family who will love me for exactly who I am! Here's what you should know about me: I LOVE treats! I've got a great appetite and I'm a total foodie. I sleep in my own cozy dog bed near the people bed because I like being close to my humans. I have limited vision, which is pretty normal for a lady my age, but I'm a champ about taking my eye drops and ear drops - no drama here! ���'� I'm more of a reserved girl than a cuddly one, but I absolutely love getting pets when I'm in the mood! I'm house trained, I get along wonderfully with other dogs, and I'd probably do well with older, dog-savvy children. Cats are a mystery to me since I've never met one! At 13 years old, I may be a senior, but I've still got so much love to give! I'm absolutely adorable (if I do say so myself), and I'm just waiting for someone to see how special I am!
