About LILLY

LILLY is a 10 year old, 7.8 pound Yorkie mix who was surrendered with several other dogs due to a move. She is looking for a loving home where she can be spoiled, snuggled, and loved just the way she deserves. LILLY is a sweet little snugglebug who wants nothing more than to be close to her person. She loves cuddling on the couch and will curl up right beside you or in your lap for extra pets. She has the cutest habit of nuzzling her nose into you, and once she's comfortable, she snores like a tiny piglet. At night, she sleeps in the big bed, either along your pillow or right at your shoulders, as close as possible! Once she's settled in, she doesn't move an inch until morning. LILLY is fine with other dogs, as long as they don't get in her face too much. She would be fine in a home with a smaller dog or could happily be an only dog. She sometimes gets a little jealous if someone else is getting attention so she would probably enjoy being the soul object of her family's attention. We do not know how she would be with cats and think she would be happier in a home without children. LILLY is learning to go outside for potty breaks and will also use puppy pads. She'll walk on a leash, but only for short strolls, and she absolutely loves going for rides in her stroller to enjoy some fresh air. She would be fine in a home with or without a fenced yard. If you're in the kitchen, be prepared, she has perfected her puppy-dog eyes and knows exactly how to use them! LILLY has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. When she came in we noticed that she had something wrong with one of her feet and we had it x-rayed. At some point in her life she had a pretty traumatic injury with some broken toes but it's an older injury and no surgery is recommended. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
