About Spikey

Adoption Fee: $500
Bluetick Coonhound mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Spikey: Spikey is currently in a Georgia kill shelter and can come to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on November 14 - but only if he has a foster or adopter waiting for him! Without one, he won't be able to make the trip. Spikey is such a good boy - super chill, friendly, and easy to love. He's a social guy who gets along great with other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack. True to his hound side, he loves to follow his nose and explore the world around him! Spikey is good with kids and has a calm, steady temperament that makes him a great companion. He's playful when it's time to play, but just as happy to hang out and relax once he's had his exercise. He was positive for heartworm when he came to the shelter, and is now finished with treatment, fully recovered, and ready to make his trip to Wisconsin! Spikey has such a sweet, gentle nature and would make an amazing addition to just about any home - especially one with another friendly dog to keep him company.
