Look who's available for adoption! That's right, our labradorable Sven! Hi there! My name is Sven, and I'm a sweet, resilient boy looking for a permanent spot in a loving home. Despite a less-than-ideal start, I've flourished in my foster home and am now ready to find my forever family. Personality & Quirks: I'm a big, goofy bundle of love! I have a high energy level & enjoy your company and attention; I love my daily walks & a good game of tug or fetch in the yard, but I'm just as happy to be a couch potato. I'll often lay my head on your lap for some pets, and if you let me on the couch, I'll snuggle right next to you as you watch TV or read. I'm a very smart pup and a real quick learner and already know 'sit', 'down', 'paw', 'shake' (it off before entering the house), 'come front', 'go crate', 'turn around' (during walks), and 'wait' (at the door). My Ideal Home: Currently, I live with my foster family with 3 kids ages 8, 11, and 13, and a foster sibling Shih-Tzu (16 lbs). I would thrive in a fenced home where I receive plenty of love, attention, and human companionship. I love rolling around, chasing balls, tug of war, playing, finding hidden treats around the house and am very active. An active individual or family who enjoys long walks and playtime would be a perfect fit. Due to my enthusiasm, I might be a little much for very small children, so a home with kids over 8 years old is probably best. I am very respectful to other dog siblings and get along with dogs. I am great in the crate and house trained. I had a couple of accidents in the beginning but I am doing just fine now. I am food motivated and can learn new tricks / commands after a few tries but might need to work on greeting people. But once you meet me, you'll see I am very intelligent and a very fast learner. My weakness is always trying to help with folding laundry. My favorites are peanut butter, chew sticks, balls of all sorts, shapes and sizes, and last but not least squeeze toys. I also enjoy baths and I'm great getting groomed. Sven will love you already before even meeting you, he's the Fetch Champion' and you haven't lived until you've had Sven's hugs!
