He thrives on mental and physical stimulation, so a home that can keep him engaged will bring out his best qualities. This handsome guy is a crate champ-quiet and calm when in it-and he's 100% potty trained and dog-door trained. He loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, and he can adjust his energy to match the household. Axel mouths when he's excited, but it's gentle and playful, not mean. He also loves kids, though he may be a little exuberant for very small children. He's generally not a jumper, but extreme excitement might get the best of him. Axel does well on a leash, rides nicely in the car, and is motivated by food, which makes training fun and rewarding. With his athletic build and adaptable nature, he could be your perfect running buddy or family companion. His gorgeous greyish muzzle, warm eyes, and stunning presence are just the beginning-he's a true all-around companion who can fit into many types of families.
