Gaucho (Cowboy) was found in Valle de Guadeloupe, Mexico on New Year's Eve of this year. He is a sweet old boy who needs a stable home where the care giver is home often and has a yard. He has a poorly healed broken leg, so exercise should be minimal, but regardless of this he is strong. He is dog reactive, but can be eased into relationships with other dogs (I have been fostering him for 10 months and he gets along with my three other dogs). He has separation anxiety, but will calm down after about 5-10 mins. He is house broken and doesn't have interest in chewing on anything that isn't a plushie/squeaky toy. He is good in the car. He had been fixed, had all bad teeth removed, is up to date on all vaccines. I had a biopsy done on one of the lumps that cover his body and it was benign. They are idiopathic, may be a reaction to something he was exposed to prior to fostering. Does have arthritis - give two lose does dog asprin with dinner. All and all, Gaucho is a very sweet boy who just wants to lay under your feet and chase the lizards in your back yard.
