Gina is a 2 year old Belgian malinois. Gina's owner recently passed away, leaving her in our care. Gina is the sweetest girl, but we aren't supposed to have dogs in our apartment, have no yard, both work full time, and we just don't feel that we can give her the life she deserves. She is very smart and highly trainable, loves treats. She is amazing with other dogs (VERY submissive), great with cats, older kids, and loves all people. She has never been around young children but I'm sure she would do great. She is crate trained, but has had little to no training otherwise. She had been potty trained before moving with us, but since we've gotten her she does often have accidents in the apartment. Although, when she stays with other family who have yards, she never has accidents. She never wants to potty when you take her outside on her leash, and I think the anxiety surrounding the leash is the cause of the accidents. Prior to moving with us, she had a big yard and never had to go outside on a leash other than for walks. Gina needs a yard to run around in, maybe some other dogs to play with, and an owner who has the time and patience to give her the life she deserves. We are asking a small adoption fee to ensure she goes to someone who is serious about her.
