Ramona came into rescue after she was abandoned in the parking lot at a shelter. Ramona is an 8-pound bundle of delight. She's perfected the chihuahua strut. Sporting white tippy toes against her sleek back body and curled tail, she loves to go for walks and makes a striking silhouette when out and about. Ramona was abandoned, along with some dog food, at the door of a local shelter. The shelter staff noted she had some resource guarding behavior as well as distress at loud noises and the commotion of the shelter. She has flourished in the calm environment of her foster home but does sometimes flinch at sudden movements. Slow introductions ease her fears. Ramona loves lap and shoulder cuddle time as well as lounging in the sun on her own. She does not require a fenced in yard and is very quiet. She would make a great apartment dog. Ramona is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is being fostered in Columbus, OH and is available for an adoption fee of $400.00. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org ***Petfinder/ RescueMe inquiries are NOT considered applications and may not be responded to***
