About Gordo

Gordo is a 1.5 year old, super sweet and gentle, happy, playful 12 pound mixed breed pup. Previous owners says he is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. He is seeking a warm-hearted, loving, fun home. He is fostered in Beaverton, Oregon. Gordo is 100% house trained. He walks well on leash, walking 3 miles with his big dog pal every morning. He loves to snuggle, run and play. He adores another playful dog and will warm up to any size nice pup. He shows an affinity for athletic activities, and could make a good agility dog. Gordo is more comfortable with women, so a man in his life must be patient, gentle, and not upset about Gordo taking more time to get comfortable with him. Gordo cannot do kids, as their energy and unpredictable noises and movements scare him. Teens are great. He is neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped and on flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250. A great home for Gordo and his must haves include: 1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks not gone long hours and who will include Gordo in their fun activities. 3. People who will show this sweetheart how much fun life can be. 4. Gordo would love another dog of any size to play with, but will do fine with loving humans. 5. Folks who walk their dogs daily. . 6Given Gordo's young age, and the usual long life span of his breeds, we seek folks up to young retiree age, with whom he can happily live out his life.
