About Murphy

Murphy is a very sociable Great Dane mix who takes love to a whole new level. He loves people and turns strangers into friends at record speed. With cuddles at the ready, his affectionate nature will make your troubles melt away. And those bandit eyes? Simply irresistible! He also loves going for car rides. Made for road trips, he's a great travel partner you can take almost anywhere. Murphy scores low on the energy meter, though he loves going for short walks and playing with any toys of the chew or stuffed variety. He also loves chasing after balls in the yard, but after 15 minutes of playing fetch he's ready for a snooze. He is so easy to please! He is a really good boy who has never been aggressive toward people. He prefers humans over furry friends and therefore looking to be an only pet, or possibly live with a female dog. While out on walks, he can walk past dogs without issues. Fun fact! Have you ever heard of a Saint Dane or a Daniff or how about a Saint Daniff? As silly as these designer dogs sound, Murphy does have some Saint Bernard and Mastiff parentage if you're into that sort of thing! This is a home-to-home adoption. When Murphy joined his family as a puppy, they had no idea he'd grow aggressive toward their other male dog. He gets along better with his female sibling, but it's a big no-go for the brother. The owners tried very hard to create harmony, but Murphy has put his paw down on that idea. Though 1-�%BD years old, as a big dog he's still considered very young. He is smart but his new person will ensure he maintains good manners. People are not bowling pins! No small children due to his size.
