About Percy

Meet Percy........ Percy is a merle color miniature poodle. He came to rescue as a breeder surrender. He has a birth date of 12/1/19. We dont know how long he lived his life in a 'breeding facility' but he took his freedom walk on 11/4/25 and there's no looking back for this little guy. His spirit hasn't been broken like others that came in that same day that we are working with to even be able to touch to give love to. Percy is happy and very excited to run and play and give us love. He will see our vet this next week for his full vetting and we will know his exact weight, but guessing he is between 12 and 15 pounds. He will also have his bath and groomed when he came in we just trimmed the hair from his eyes so he could see. He will be fully vetted prior to going home. Percy will need a fenced yard to keep him safe while going outside to potty as he has never been on a leash before. Please keep in mind as well that he has never lived in a home so lots of things will be new to him. He will need time and patience to adjust. He is not a rescue for a first time dog owner. He will need some understanding as to why he is the age he is and doesn't know things he should. This is from being used for profit and not loved as a pet in a home.
