About 'Smokey' the Bear

Smokey is a good boy with so much potential. We have so much on our plate that he is being neglected. I have 2 young children and after a very complex arm injury that requires close to a 2 year recovery. I am not strong enough to control him. I would say he is good with kids in the right environment, but right now I he is just so overly excited with interaction because he barely gets it. I think the only issue I should point out with smoky is that he does not do well with colored people. I took him in one time to get shots and he lost his mind. The breeder I got him from was a colored person, so I'm assuming something happened to him before we got him. He used to have food aggression, but he has become so far. He's really mellow once he's in the house for a little bit, but it is almost 100 pounds and wants to lay on your lap. That's my issue is when he lays on the children I can't get him off! He's a true lover and deserves to be loved. We love him so much but we know he deserves better.
