About Kaia

Kaia is a Catahoula pup with a gentle heart and a curious, growing mind. She's a very sweet girl who loves affection and happily soaks up pets, but she's also content doing her own thing. Kaia is potty trained, knows her name, and is eager to learn. She's treat motivated and already knows how to sit on command. She also takes her treats gently from your hand! In a previous foster home, Kaia loved playing with dogs her own age and size. She has playful puppy energy but balances it nicely, settling into a low to medium energy level overall. She's loves playing with squeaky toys - she's just so gentle that she rarely makes them squeak herself! Kaia is still learning how to walk on a leash and needs some practice. She currently prefers to be carried - luckily, she's small and light enough to scoop up easily. With patience and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to improve!
