About Kiara

Hello, I have a 15 year old cat that I can no longer take care of. For around maybe the last 6 months she has been wetting herself and screeching and peeing whenever I or one of my other cats go near her. Because of this, she is living in my bathroom where she is peeing all over the place. I have taken her to the vet and they tested her blood and kidneys. They said everything looked fine. In the past she has had issues with peeing, but nowhere near as bad as it is now. During those visits to the vet, they checked her bladder and everything was fine then as well. I don't want her staying locked in a bathroom for the rest of her life, but I cannot let her out. I'm looking for someone or some place that is experienced with older cats that could take her. Other Humane Societies and rehoming groups have said it might be better to put her down, but as she doesn't seem that geriatric besides the peeing I don't feel right. Any help would be appreciated.
