Meet OJ, a handsome German Shepherd with a story that tugs at the heart. OJ first came to our shelter as a stray, and we were thrilled to reunite him with his family - but sadly, he was found tied up outside our shelter about a week later. OJ seems to prefer doing his own thing - a little independent, a little unsure - but with time, trust, and patience, we believe his loyal Shepherd heart will shine through. He's great on a leash, walks beautifully without pulling, and enjoys quiet strolls where he can take in all the scents around him. He'll sit politely (sometimes even before you ask!) and takes treats gently from your hand. It doesn't take much to keep him entertained! Here in the shelter, OJ hasn't shown much interest in toys, but he has shown us a calm, thoughtful side. His favorite activity is walking around and sniffing in our play yards.
