After a recent move (and many tears around this decision) we decided that it's best for us to re-home Athena. She has been raised with another dog, and a cat but she chases the cat every chance she gets. She also plays really well with other dogs at the park. Athena has also been raised around kids and babies but possibly due to her size and energy, this could be an issue with small children. Athena is incredibly smart and sweet. She has a very typical husky personality and loves to be vocal. LOVES to cuddle and would make a great lap dog if you let her, even though she is roughly 60lbs. Also, she struggles with thunderstorms and fireworks (we give her anxiety meds on the loud holidays) but typically calms down once she's had some extra love. We are ultimately re-homing because we just can't give her what she needs. She would make a fantastic dog for someone who has the knowledge and patience to train her as well as the energy to walk her and/or the space to let her run. She is fixed, up to date on all her shots, and regularly groomed at Petsmart. She has also been on a monthly flea/tick/heartworm medicine.
