5-6 years old cocker Housetrained Does get along with other dogs but may resource guard toys, food, her human. As long as you understand she will need redirected in this area, she will be fine with other dogs. She plays with them out in the play yard here all the time but we have had some scuffles over toys. The dogs work it out among themselves without injury. It's mostly a loud discussion between them and gentle redirection on my part. She does give a dog warning. If they continue to push her buttons, she will react. I have not had her around any cats. Caramel is affectionate and attentive but also independent. She must be monitored at all times outside as she does like to wander but she recalls well. She is offleash often outside and does well when given boundaries. She has never shown any aggressive behavior towards humans. She is an absolutely delight who loves fetch and treats. She crates well and as long as she has appropriate chews and toys she will leave your stuff alone but I would still crate until you know she is safe to be left out unattended. Caramel was a housedog that someone gave away to an amish breeder who then kept her in a barn for breeding till she was no longer productive and that's when she ended up with my rescue. If ypu would like to adopt Caramel please send an inquiry and an application will be emailed to you from [email protected] or [email protected]
