He just turned 1 on March 25th, 2025. He is a red-blue heeler, around 54lbs at last vet visit. His preferred pet style is stomach and back scratches. He loves sleeping on his back sometimes. He's a very hyperactive but loving mama's boy. Pros: %BD%BD%90%BE He's up to date on his shots and his flea/tick treatment. He's a very hyperactive but loving mama's boy. %BD%BD%90%BE He is crated trained %BD%BD%90%BE He will go stand by the door when he has to go outside to pee %BD%BD%90%BE He knows to 'sit', 'leave it' and 'off' (the furniture), and is working on learning 'down' (as in lie down.) %BD%BD%90%BE He was trained out of any nipping very young. %BD%BD%90%BE He will try to run cats and wild animals, but will not harm them. I have a kitten in the house that he enjoys playing with. %BD%BD%90%BE He will also sleep in the crate with minimal whining as long you take him out to potty right before and after bed. %BD%BD%90%BE He's used to sleeping in the bed with his humans or beside/under the bed on his favorite human's side. %BD%BD%90%BE He should get along with other new dogs (he has an older sister, and aside from petty brief squabbles, has always gotten along well with her. He has also never shown aggression towards other dogs at his vet visits) Cons: %BD%BD%90%BE Pooping outside is still a work in progress. %BD%BD%90%BE His recall needs work, so he must be on-leash or in a fenced area when taken to relieve himself. %BD%BD%90%BE He does bark at new people or other dogs but has never shown any sort of aggressive or fearful behavior - just excitement about new friends.
