He's settling in nicely, getting along great with the other dogs, and starting to feel completely at home. Ratigan is also working on all the puppy basics, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners. From a rough start to a second chance, Ratigan is ready to shine. He's part of the Ratties litter - Miss Brisby (F), Templeton (M), Professor Ratigan (M), Rizzo (F), and Remy (M) - who came into a Georgia kill shelter after being surrendered by a backyard breeder. Heartbreakingly, this was the second litter from the same people in less than a year. At just 6-7 weeks old (as of 11/5), Ratigan arrived skinny, malnourished, and underweight, but he's thriving now and his sweet, playful personality is shining through. He's curious, cuddly, and ready for a loving forever home. Age: 6-7 weeks (as of 11/5) Gender: Male Weight: 5-7 lbs Breed: Boxer/Bully mix Spayed/Neutered: Not yet Potty Trained: In progress Crate Trained: In progress Leash Manners: In progress Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes Professor Ratigan is ready for the next step in his journey - a family who will give him love, guidance, and the happy home he deserves. From His Foster: Let me tell you about little Professor! He is SUCH a special boy. Every single person who has met him is amazed by his sweet, calm & gentle demeanor. He welcomes snuggles from all people, big and small, and playtime with all dogs! He sleeps soundly in the crate all night and also does well in it intermittently throughout the day. He is making very good progress with potty training-following the lead of our other dogs, even though he is not a fan of this cold. One of the things we love best about him is that he enjoys playing with our dogs, but he is also content entertaining himself with his toys. His blue eyes are so beautiful! He is just a super sweet, happy little soul!
