He's west valley shelter's longest resident, entering the shelter in November 2024! Why is that? Probably because the people who can see him in his kennel (he sure does blend in) think he is a large, scary, grey Pittie. Here's what you don't see unless you meet him: a big, goofy, smooshball. Bima is 80 pounds of love. Unfortunately that love mostly extends to humans. He is nervous with other dogs. The playgroup trainees are working with him and he's doing much better, improving all the time. With his humans, he is a fantastic running pal with great leash manners. He is also a play pal, he loves toys. And he is a cuddle-bug, he loves affection and belly rubs. The 'book under the cover' is a family dog. He's not getting any younger and he has been put on the 'urgent needs' list due to probably having to be an only dog (and length of stay). Bima is 6 years old. Help us help him celebrate 7 in a cozy bed in a loving home. West Valley 20655 Plummer Chatsworth CA 818-756-9325 T-F 8-5 Sat and Sun 11-5
