About Soos

Meet Soos Hi there, I'm Soos! I'm a 4-year-old Great Dane/Pointer mix weighing in around 100 pounds of gentle giant energy. I'm a big-hearted guy who loves being near my people, happy, calm, and content just hanging out close by. I'm house-trained, have great manners, and already know my sit, stay, and come cues. I walk nicely on leash and am always eager to keep learning. In my foster home, I live peacefully with a large senior dog. I'm not much of a 'playtime' kind of dog, but I do well co-existing with calm canine friends. I'm not a fan of overly hyper or pushy dogs, and I haven't lived with cats, so that's still unknown for me. What I do love is structure, routine, and quiet time with people I trust. It takes me a little while to warm up to new faces. Meeting strangers can feel scary at first, but my foster and volunteer friends are helping me learn that new people bring good things. Once I know you, though, I'm deeply loyal, affectionate, and devoted. I'm looking for a calm, low-traffic home with a secure fenced yard and a patient adopter who will give me time to feel safe and settle in. I'll thrive with someone who understands slow introductions, gentle guidance, and the value of earning trust through consistency and care. Kids can be scary to me so l'd prefer to live without any. If you're looking for a faithful companion who'll quietly stand by your side and love you for life, I might just be your guy.
