Milo was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Los Angeles, where he was brought in as a stray-likely displaced during the 2025 LA wildfires. He was just a baby at the time, scared and underweight, having survived alone in the forest. He was two weeks overdue for euthanasia when my brother and I stepped in to foster him with only an hour to spare. We brought him home to Colorado, where he's been learning how to be a mountain dog ever since! He's currently around 1 year old, healthy, playful, and thriving. Milo loves hiking, playing with other dogs, and curling up for cuddles after a long day of exploring. He's affectionate, adventurous, smart, and goofy, and he learns new things every day. We're now looking for a loving forever home for Milo-preferably with someone who enjoys the outdoors and can give him the time, care, and companionship he deserves. He's still young and would thrive with continued training, structure, and daily activity. Ideally, his new home will have access to a yard or nearby nature, and perhaps even other dog siblings to play with. Adjectives to describe Milo: playful, loving, brave, curious, cuddly, resilient, energetic, loyal. If you think you're the right fit for Milo, he'd love to meet you!
