Warren is safe in Wisconsin and doing amazing in his foster home! Warren's journey hasn't been easy, but this resilient 6-year-old German Shepherd has proven he's full of heart and strength. He was found as a stray in Georgia with a severe injury to his tail that had caused a painful infection. On 10/2/25, his tail was amputated to relieve his pain and prevent further complications - and now that he's healed, Warren is feeling so much better and finally getting the love and comfort he deserves in his Wisconsin foster home. Since arriving, Warren has settled in beautifully and fits right in. His foster says he's so affectionate and loving - he loves to lean in and 'push' against you for pets and attention. He's a total sweetheart with a goofy side, especially when he rolls onto his back to nap upside down. Warren walks great on leash, though he's still a little timid around cars. He feels safe and secure in his crate and hasn't had any accidents since arriving. He gets along fine with his foster family's puppy, though he prefers a calmer environment and isn't big on rowdy play. After everything he's been through, Warren continues to show just how gentle, loyal, and loving he truly is. He's ready to find a forever home that will cherish him for the wonderful companion he's become.
