About Rigsby

Meet Rigsby! Rigsby is a 75-pound, 4-year-old yellow dog (DOB: 9/14/2020) with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of energy. He's housebroken, crate-trained, and professionally obedience-trained-knowing commands like sit, stay, come, place, wait, crate, touch, and fetch. He's happy in his crate when left alone, but he's also trustworthy when uncrated, as he only chews on his toys. Rigsby is still perfecting his leash training. While he understands the 'heel' command, he could use a little more practice-he sometimes reacts to parked cars, but rides well in a vehicle overall. One of his absolute favorite things to do is swim and play fetch, nonstop! If you're up for endless games of fetch, Rigsby will happily keep you entertained! Due to food guarding issues, Rigsby is best suited as an only dog in a home without children. While he gets along well with other dogs, he does not do well with cats. He would thrive in a home where he's the center of attention, soaking up all the love. He may need a little time to acclimate at first, so patience is key-but once he settles in, he becomes an obedient and fantastic companion. Rigsby would flourish in an active home with plenty of exercise, attention, and love. A large, fenced-in yard where he can run, play fetch, and swim would be ideal for burning off his high energy.
