About Cooper

Cooper came into rescue in hopes that he would find a new, loving home. He has adjusted nicely to foster life and doggy daycare. He is social and fun. Sometimes he is a little opinionated and may not want to share his special bed or crate with another pup. Out on the play yard though, he has fun wrestling with his friends. He likes both big dogs and little ones. He did fine with cats too. He lived with children in his last home. Cooper has finally lost enough weight to help ensure he has a longer, healthier life. We are proud of his progress. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, is neutered, and up to date on immunizations and heartworm prevention. 8 years old Dachshund (might be pure or mix), 24 lbs.
