Hello! I'm Toby, Your Future Best Friend! I'm an 8-year-old Silky Terrier with the heart of a puppy and the energy to match! At just 12 pounds, I may be small, but my personality is enormous. I don't know what everyone means when they say I 'act younger than my age' - this IS how you're supposed to live life! Let me paint you a picture of my perfect day: I wake up snuggled right next to you (personal space is overrated, don't you think?), give you about a million good morning kisses, then head outside for the most fascinating walk ever. Every single smell tells a story, and I'm like a detective gathering clues about who's been in the neighborhood! I'm 'particular' about the dogs I get along with just because I like to be the center of my humans' attention and I can get a little jealous so I need any potential siblings first. The cats at my foster home? I see them but I'm not interested in them and they leave me alone. I'm way too busy with important things like watching the epic drama happening in the backyard�'�|birds, squirrels, lizards�'�|it's like nature's reality TV! I have excellent house manners because I'm a sophisticated gentleman, but crates? No thank you! I much prefer being where the action is - preferably right beside you, or better yet, on your lap. If you're looking for a dog who gives you space, I'm definitely not your guy. But if you want a furry shadow who thinks you're the most amazing person in the world, I'm your man!
