About Mac

Mac has been looking for his forever home for THREE years now. This poor boy was originally found as a stray in the Lompoc area when he was just a little over 1 years old. Since then he has lived in the shelter. He has been adopted twice and returned. Both were not the right fit and Mac was also gave up on way too quickly. After his second return, the shelter denied him back. Mac had literally no where to go so we took him in. He's been living with us for 8 months now as we've continued to search for his perfect fit home. For these past 8 months Mac has been living peacefully with 3 other dogs and even 2 cats. His best qualities: -Fantastic running/walking buddy -Loves car rides and any adventure -Loves playing tug of war & fetch -Loves the water -Not destructive in the home or backyard -Thrives on routine and structure -Very trainable His ideal home: -Needs an experienced dog owner -Would thrive as a man's best friend or with a couple with no kids -Needs a confident handler as Mac can be leash reactive -A yard would be nice as he is used to spending his days lounging in the sun -Okay living with other dogs BUT his play style is very vocal and awkward so it would only work well with another dog who is okay with that style If you think you can give Mac the life he deserves, you will always have guidance and support from us! We love Mac and want to see him finally find his forever home.
