About River

Meet River! He is a 2.5 year old Dalmatian and has been the best dog. We adopted him as a 6 month old puppy. Unfortunately we have to rehome him as he's been increasingly anxious/aggressive at unpredictable times when people are visiting. He has never bitten anyone, but recently growled at multiple of our family members unprovoked. He needs a quiet household with someone that knows how to deal with behavioral issues. We have another female dog and he adores her. He also loves our cats. Territorial around male dogs, though. We hate to do this, but our family simply doesn't feel comfortable around him anymore. He's UTD on all vaccines and in excellent health. He is a big cuddler and loves attention. He also loves playing outside. We are desperate for a placement and do not want to surrender him to a shelter where he will be afraid and potentially lash out, resulting in him being put down.
