About Scrappy

We are posting Scrappy as a courtesy post for a family in our town (East Hartford, CT) that has to make the hard decision to rehome their boy Scrappy. Scrappy is currently living in a small apartment style home with small back yard. He is not able to get the exercise he needs every day and has taken to digging and destructive behaviors outdoors causing the property owner to start eviction proceedings should the dog not be rehomed as soon as possible. Scrappy is 5 years old, not neutered and not up to date on vaccinations. He currently lives with children under 14 and a small breed Terrier mix dog. Scrappy has not had many other interactions with other dogs and it is unknown how he would cohabitate with others. Cats are a no go for him. In an effort to assist the transition, all applicants and interested parties will inquire to the email added and forwarded to the family for consideration.
